A.  The Food Crisis: these Videos are not comfortable to watch; but it’s important we understand the magnitude of this worldwide challenge. Haiti is one of the countries being affected most by this food crisis even though they have thousands of acres of fertile land. This video first aired in February of 2009.

This Video about the Food Crisis in Egypt first aired in May of 2009. It describes the result to inflated food prices on the Egyptian people.

E.  Methane as Fuel: This innovative dairy farmer created an entire industry of alternative fuel from his and his fellows’ cow manure. Watch BioEnergy Solutions below.

F.  Building a small Portable Digester: two young diary farmers demonstrate how to build your own low-tech and inexpensive Digester.

G.  The Caterpillar Company builds generator sets that have the unique ability to capture methane from coal mines and convert it into clean energy.

H.  The Carbon Cycle: Please keep in mind as you watch this video that many scientists do not believe global warming is caused by human energy use or an over proliferation of man-created green house gases which include CO2; but rather, it is a cycle powered by the sun. These scientists also state that there has been a cooling for the past decade rather than more warming.

I.  US President, Obama, addresses COP 15. These Videos were aired on December 18, 2009. The top one is his opening, the bottom, his closing. Nothing binding was achieved. An agreement to meet again in 2010 was finalized; but the 2010 deadline to come to mitigation agreements was scrapped.
